It's been snowing and cold so everything is beautiful and white. I am feeling a tad fragile though. Not really bad just, well like I said in the last post, I am not freaking out with Christmas "stuff" the busyness and self imposed "have to's". I am still busy with life but there isn't that rushing and forcing things. Which means, I haven't put up the tree yet, or done any baking, or watched Christmas movies with the boys. The main reason why is that this year the boys are really busy and spending a lot more time with girlfriend and friends. Things are changing. I guess since they don't seem to care I haven't been in much of a hurry. I will definitely have a tree, I mean it's one of my favorite things about Christmas, it's just that I haven't been as motivated to get it up as soon. I gave up trying to get everyone together for a family photo. We can't seem to schedule it in daylight and you know, it's okay.
I need to rethink my ideas and start figuring out what I really enjoy and want to keep doing whether they are involved or not. I am practicing attraction rather than promotion. I am letting go a little. It's sad but they are growing up and so far doing pretty well. Bittersweet.
I have been doing some Christmas Crafts. Just a few cards and an ATC ornament swap for Cocoa Daisy. It was really fun. Here are the ones I made for it.
My studio is a mess now. Time to clean up. What are you working on?

I am trying not to stress this Christmas either -- so far -- so good :) I loveeeeeeeee your ATC's!! They are gorgeous!!!
You know I understand how you are feeling. Change is tough at times hey?!! Hang in on in there : )
Love your Christmas makings. So you xxx
The people you are swapping with at CD are VERY fortunate to be receiving these lovely little cards.
Love Elf too, and enjoyed your choice of title.
Enjoy Christmas, even as things seem to be transitioning. You will always be home deep down.
those ATC's are gorgeous!
I have been making Christmas tags.
My friend is going through something similar with her 2 boys. They are growing up and will be out of the house in a couple of years. She is trying to figure out what SHE REALLY likes to do, with or without them. She is even TRYING to talk about herself when asked how she is doing, versus always talking about the boys. You'll get there. ;)
Stunning Denise! Gorgeous creations.I am not a huge fan of the holidays as a rule. So much to do, spend and clean and so little time for creating. I just finished my IE for December and am feeling the inkling to get creative again. I hope your Christmas is enjoyable.
