Tea and Cupcakes at Cocoa Daisy

The January kit is up HERE.  My favorite add on was red velvet.  It has some Sassafrass Lass in it that I will miss when it's all gone.  This kit gave me a vintage feel and I have been using some older photos. I have a few projects on my desk as well and the photos are less than perfect, blurry in fact.  The mystery and delight of imperfection!

I have been kicking around the idea of deconstruction in my pages.  I always love the More is More layouts of Christine Middlecamp. Her amazing layers that go on forever.  The truth is, it's really hard for me to keep going.  I always have this stop button that goes off in my head.  Sometimes I work past it and do keep going but it is not automatic.  I also really love the look of modern vintage.  Like collage that looks like it's been stepped on and left out in the rain for days on end.  Buried in dead leaves.

There are so many amazing scrapbookers out there.  I have found this one recently and she is really inspiring me with images I feel I have had in my head for a long time. Her name is Mummka?  she is from Poland and has a beautiful blog HERE.  That's where I got the scribbles from.  I have done them before on pages but not quite so haphazardly.  I have always tried to control them.  Not this time.  My favorite artists in the world?  Children.  I love the art they create.  So free, without plans.

Anyway, bit of a ramble.  off to work.  have a good day!
